DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an alleged incident of invasion of privacy involving a 24-year-old woman. It reportedly happen in October of 2014 at a home in Dauphin Borough.
Investigators say 26-year-old Alex Jay Trevenen, did film or attempt to film the victim while she was in the shower. The woman told police that she was an invited overnight guest. Prior to going to the bathroom to take a shower, Trevenen is alleged to have surreptitiously placed his cell phone on a shelf with the camera facing up and out, while in video recording mode and actively recording.
The victim discovered the phone as it was recording and stopped it, before reviewing the footage. The victim then got dressed and returned to her own home.
So far no charges have been filed. The investigation continues.
