EAST EARL TWP, Pa- New Holland Police arrest a Denver man after he fired a gun into a least two homes late Friday evening.
Nicholas J. Irvin, 30, is charged with two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.
According to police the first incident occurred in the 1800 block of Division Highway, Earl Township. The house was occupied by two adults and five children.
The second incident happened in the 900 block of North Railroad Avenue. The bullets in both incidents were lodged in the wall of the home police said.
No one was injured at either scene.
While police were investigating the two scenes, a disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Franklin Street.
Police found Irvin at the scene, inside a vehicle and in possession of a .40 caliber pistol. A spent shell casing was on the passenger seat, police said.
When questioned at the scene, police said, Irvin admitted to firing his handgun while he was traveling on Division Hwy and N Railroad Ave both in Earl Township while he was going to New Holland.
He was taken into custody and again confessed to the incidents to police at the station.
Irvin was arraigned and taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $75,000 cash bail.
