LANCASTER COUNTY — A 25-year-old Bronx, New York man has been identified as the person found in the trunk of a vehicle delivered to the Manheim Auto Auction Thursday.
And he was a wanted felon out of New York, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police say.
Leon Parks, aka Chyeime Manson Parks, had outstanding warrants for parole violation and weapons charges, police say. He was found in the trunk of a 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat that was loaded onto a transporter truck that brought several vehicles to the auction from New York City, according to police.
Parks was found by an auction employee assigned to inspect the vehicle, police say. When the employee opened the trunk, he found Parks inside.
Parks was semi-responsive and was transported to an area hospital for treatment after receiving emergency medical care on-scene, police say. He was taken to the NLCRPD for identification and booking after being discharged from the hospital.
Police are still trying to determine how Parks got inside the trunk. They say Parks is not cooperating with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
