YORK COUNTY, Pa.-- UPDATE: A 20-year-old man is still wanted in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Ruban Dejesus.
Marquis Butts, 20, is wanted for criminal homicide, robbery, and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery.
On October 21 around 11:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 600 block of Linden Avenue for a report of a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Dejesus, known by man as Ruban Smith, was taken by the ambulance to York Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Witnesses told police that Dejesus and Butts went to the 600 block of Linden Ave. together with the plan of robbing a drug dealer of marijuana.
Upon meeting the dealer, Dejesus and Butts attempted to take the marijuana before the dealer got out a gun and fired at least one shot.
Both Dejesus and Butts attempted to flee the area.
A witness who said they had spoken to Butts after the incident had occurred said that Butts heard Dejesus fall to the grunt and fall to the ground but continued to flee the area.

The 17-year-old was a junior at William Penn Senior High School.
