DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – Derry Township Police take a Maryland woman into custody and are seeking her male accomplice on retail charge in Hershey.
On Wednesday, at about 11:39 am, Township Police arrested Nakisha Rene Savoy of Baltimore, after witnesses noticed her and a male suspect placing numerous articles of clothing in the trunk of a car on several occasions in the Tanger Outlets parking lot in Hershey.
Responding officers detained Savoy in the vehicle and discovered several articles of clothing from 5 different Outlet Stores. It was determined that the clothing, with a value of over $2,100 was stolen. Her accomplice, identified as Kendell Lamont Glover, also of Baltimore, managed to escape.
Savoy is charged with 5 counts of Receiving Stolen Property and 5 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft. Following arraignment she was sent to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $1,000 bail.
Township police have obtained a criminal arrest warrant Glover.
The Derry Township Police Department says it will remain vigilant with increased uniform and plain clothes patrols in shopping districts during the holiday season .
