SOUTH LONDONDERRY TOWNSHIP, LEBANON, Pa.–A New Jersey man was arrested Monday after police say he led them on a chase in a stolen SUV through Lebanon, Dauphin and Lancaster counties.
Christopher Breen, of Haskell, New Jersey, is charged with fleeing and eluding, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, DUI, driving while suspended and numerous traffic violations.
Around 11:40 p.m. Monday, a South Londonderry Township police officer attempted to stop Breen for a traffic violation along Route 322 near Hinkle Road.
Breen refused to pull over and led officers on a pursuit through three counties. The chase eventually came to an end after officers deployed stop sticks. Authorities discovered the SUV Breen was driving had been reported stolen out of Philadelphia.
South Londondery Township Police were assisted by Derry Township Police, Northwest Regional Police, Pennsylvania State Police and Middletown Police.
