A 13-year old boy from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania found a razor blade inside his trick or treat candy bag.
The razor blade was discovered in a snack-size Nestle Crunch bar.
The blade was wedged in between the chocolate bar and the wrapper.
The boy trick-or-treated at several houses around a neighborhood in Towamencin Township.
His mother is now asking, who would be so cruel?
“It’s quite a scary thought, a holiday that’s mostly celebrated by young children in elementary school, someone would be that hateful to try to harm them,” says Jennifer Gage.
Towamencin Township Police have yet to name a suspect. They will be contacting Nestle to see if something could have happened during the manufacturing process.
Police want parents to remember to always check their children’s Halloween candy.
