YORK COUNTY, PA (WPMT)  West York Borough Police have an arrest warrant for Rashad Ali Ibrahim, 31, of York, for deliberating setting a fire  just after midnight this morning that destroyed a garage and a vehicle inside, in the rear of 1110 West Market Street.

The owner of the burnt vehicle was involved in a domestic altercation with Ibrahim, her ex-boyfriend, just two hours prior to the fire. Police also say Ibrahim bought a pack of lighters and a bottle of lighter fluid at a grocery store a block away about twenty minutes before the fire. He was last seen leaving the store and walking towards the victim’s home. A man fitting Ibrahim’s description was seen running from the garage after the fire started.

Charges against Ibrahim include 2 counts of Arson, Causing or Risking a Catastrophe and Criminal Mischief.  Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Ibrahim is asked call 911.
