A Perry County man was arrested Monday in North Middleton Township and tased after police said he resisted arrest.
Zachary Taylor Baughman, of Elliottsburg, is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Officers responded to the 2100 block of West Trindle Road for a report of a domestic assault around 10:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police that Baughman had left the area with a knife. A short time later–Baughman returned and fought with officers while they attempted to take him into custody.
Baughman was tased before being arrested, police said.
A police officer was injured and taken to the Carlisle Regional Medical Center for treatment where they have since been released.
