Family, friends and fans mourn the loss of strong man Mike Jenkins who passed away yesterday morning at the age of 31. On his Facebook page, his wife, Keri Sue Jenkins, wrote that he died in his sleep. The 6 foot 6 inch 400 pound Jenkins, who lived in Dauphin County, was one of the strongest men in the world. He won the 2012 Arnold Strongman Classic, named after Arnold Schwarznegger
Some of his many fans and supporters have left flowers and lit candles at the entrance of CrossFit Gamma, a gym co-owned by Jenkins in Hershey. Condolences from all over the world are pouring into the Mike Jenkins and CrossFit Gamma Facebook pages.
Kari Sue Jenkins wrote that an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death is scheduled for Monday.
