SANDUSKY, OH – Taco Bell has fired an employee after a photo went viral on social media showing the man with his hand down the back of his pants.
The photo was posted to Reddit earlier this week and made it to the top of the site. Some users were able to identify the location as a restaurant just off route 250 in Sandusky, saying the picture was circulating local Facebook pages.
A user name that has been used in the past by the President of Taco Bell company commented on the picture saying:
“We’re very concerned to see this picture and will look into it immediately and take appropriate action.”
WTVG reports that the Health Department received a complaint, and there were starting an investigation.
Taco Bell released a statement saying:
“This is completely unacceptable. Our franchisee took immediate action and has terminated the employee and retrained the entire staff. We want customers to know that the person in the photo was never in contact with the food, and that the Health Department inspected the restaurant and approved its operations.”
