SHREWSBURY, Pa.(WPMT)- Three York County men face charges in the armed robbery of a juvenile in a drug deal gone bad. It happened at about 7:40 pm Wednesday night a Sweeny Park in Shrewsbury Borough.

The 15 year old juvenile told police that he went to the park to make a person in order to buy marijuana. He said a man wearing a black beanie with holes cut for his eyes and mouth got out of a vehicle. He then ordered the juvenile to hand over his belongings, while pushing a handgun into the juvenile’s stomach.

Unfortunately for the suspect, the juvenile recognized the man robbing him as Marco Mason, 18, of Glen Rock, by his voice and short stature. The juvenile said that there were two other people with Mason during the robbery. After Mason took cash and a cell phone from the victim, all three suspects got into the vehicle and drove away.

A short time later a Southern Regional Police officer stopped the suspect’s vehicle and all three were taken into custody without incident. Police also retrieved the weapon which turned out to be a pellet pistol. The other two involved in the robbery were identified as Landen Bosley, 21, of Dallastown, and John Colton Jasinski, 20, of New Freedom.

Charges against Mason include Robbery, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Possess of a Small Amount of Marijuana.  Following arraignment Mason was sent to York County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Jasinski and Bosley, are both charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy to Terroristic Threats, Conspiracty to Commit Simple Assault and Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Unlawful Taking.  Jasinski and Bosley were arraigned and released after posting $25,000 bail each.
