A federal judge made that ruling Tuesday, in one of the last legal steps in the tobacco settlement case with the U.S. Government.
Cigarette makers must put these messages in ads and on package warnings that American’s were, quote, “deliberately deceived.”
They must also agree to the health reports which say 1,200 people die per day from effects of smoking.
It’s not clear if the tobacco companies will appeal the judge’s decision.
