HARRISBURG, Pa. Agents from the Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator section charge two men, Devin Turman, 33, of Blain, Perry County and Timothy Johnson, 55, of Birdsboro, Berks County, with possessing child pornography.
The Dauphin County Criminal Investigative Unit received a call on June 22. The caller explained that he had been on a social networking site that facilitates male same-sex introductions. The caller said he communicated with an individual who claimed to have had sex with a 4-year-old boy.
The subsequent investigation led agents to Turman’s residence. Agents executed a search warrant at the home and seized three laptop computers and a cell phone.
The AG’s Computer Forensics Unit previewed the devices and found multiple images of suspected child pornography.
Turman was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. His bail was set at $25,000 unsecured. A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for July 10.
