A virtual autopsy and genetic testing is revealing new details about King Tut.
Researchers now say his burial mask is not an accurate likeness and in reality, King Tut had buck teeth, a club foot, and wide girlish hips.
The virtual autopsy used 2,000 computer scans to create 3D images.
Scientists say theories that he died from an injury during chariot racing are unlikely because he used a walking stick to get around.
Genetic testing also shows King Tut’s parents were brother and sister which may have been what led to his physical deformities and premature death.
