Retail giant Walmart is trying to cash in on more than just holiday returns; it’s now accepting your unwanted or unused gift cards.
Walmart has a new Gift Card Exchange Program that accepts gift cards from more than 200 other stores and restaurants. Consumers can exchange the cards for a Walmart gift card of lesser value.
To exchange your gift card, goto: walmart.cardcash.com, and follow the steps to exchange your card for a Walmart gift card.
Walmart will offer up to 97-percent of the face value of the gift card shoppers turn in. You can then use the Walmart gift cards on Walmart.com or in any Walmart store.
