York, Pa -- The Christmas season officially kicked off in York on Saturday.
People gathered in York's Continental Square for the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
The ceremony was a part of a bigger celebration "Light Up York," which featured live music, activities and food throughout the square.
Hundreds of people attended this years event.
