Update: Two dead in Adams County crash

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Update (May 24): Police say two people died as a result of the two-vehicle crash in Union Township yesterday evening.

Carole Dutterer, 68, and Carly Dutterer, age not known, were both killed when another vehicle struck them as they were driving through the intersection of Hanover Road (Rt 116), and Littlestown Road, according to police.

Both women were pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.

A third person was in the vehicle but it is unknown if they suffered any injuries.

The coroner was called after a two-vehicle crash in Union Township on Saturday evening, according to police.

Police say the crash happened at 5:23 p.m on Hanover and Bender Road.

Hanover Road is blocked, according to the police.
