One dead in multi-vehicle crash on Route 30 in Lancaster County

The crash was reported shortly before 11:00 a.m. between the Mountville and Columbia exits, authorities said. Dayanara Santiago, 30, died in the crash.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Update, 4:45 p.m.: The Lancaster County Coroner's Office said a York woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 30 in Lancaster County Tuesday morning.

Dayanara Santiago, 30, was the driver and sole occupant of one of the two vehicles involved in the crash, and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni. 

The woman's identity is being withheld until her family can be notified, the coroner said.

According to 511PA, the crash has been cleared and all lanes have reopened. 

The crash remains under investigation.

A deadly multi-vehicle crash has closed all lanes of Route 30 in Lancaster County Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m. on June 4 between the Mountville and Columbia exits of Route 30 East, according to emergency dispatch. The crash reportedly involves a tractor trailer truck and at least one vehicle is on fire.

All four lanes in both directions of the highway are now closed, officials said. 

West Hempfield Township Police confirmed at least one person died in the crash.

There was no word on how many other vehicles were involved or how many people were injured.
