YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The York County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred Tuesday on Old Trail Road in Newberry Township.
According to a release, a deputy coroner responded to the scene on Oct. 4 at 9:12 a.m., and pronounced Yahaira Montero, 39, from Harrisburg, Pa., deceased.
The crash was reported shortly after 9 a.m. on the 700 block of Old Trail Road, near Old York Road and Beinhower Road, near the border between Newberry and Fairview townships, dispatch said.
Old Trail Road between Beinhower Road and Red Mill Road was closed for several hours after the crash.
Three people were transported to local hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash, according to police.
She was then transported to the York County Coroner's Office for further examination. Montero's death was the result of multiple blunt force injuries and was ruled accidental.
