CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County man has been arrested after exposing himself to multiple juveniles at a public park.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on July 22 at 10:16 a.m., Carlisle police were contacted by staff members with the Carlisle Borough Parks and Recreation to check the pavilion at Letort Park in Carlisle Borough for a disturbance. According to the caller, a man with no shirt on was exposing himself and pleasuring himself with kids present.

At the scene, Mark Basehore, 48, from Carlisle, was found leaving the park. Three juveniles, aged 14 to 9 years old, reported to police that Basehore was sitting at a pavilion 20 feet away from them.

Basehore reportedly opened his phone and stated, "Hey Siri, play porn." He allegedly displayed an explicit video on his telephone screen in the public area of the park and began unbuttoning his shorts.

The juveniles became alarmed when Basehore began touching himself in front of them.

Basehore's acts were also reportedly observed by Carlisle Parks and Recreation staff.

He has been charged with indecent exposure, displaying obscene/sexual materials, corruption of minors and open lewdness.
