CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County man was sentenced after he pled guilty to leaving an anti-Semitic note at Dickinson College's Asbell Center for Jewish Life in May.
Ronald Bates, 53, pled guilty to ethnic intimidation and was sentenced to 18 months of probation.
Bates cannot set foot on Dickinson College's campus and must undergo an updated mental health and drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommended treatment moving forward.
Police did not release details regarding what was written in the note, but said the comments were "anti-Semitic in nature."
