CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A middle school teacher in Cumberland County has been named a 2024-25 Scholastic Teacher Fellow.
Cumberland Valley School District announced Scott Brewer, a 6th grade ELA teacher at Eagle View Middle School, as a recipient of the honor.
"We are incredibly #CVProud of Mr. Brewer's accomplishments and are thrilled to see him recognized as a Scholastic Teacher fellow," the district wrote on Facebook. "Congratulations on this well-deserved honor. Your dedication to education continues to inspire us all."
The district adds that this honor highlights Brewer's "exceptional dedication to professional development, collaboration, teaching expertise and innovation."
Brewer is one of only 12 teachers nationwide given the honor.
