MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — A former worker at a Cumberland County Chick-fil-A restaurant is facing multiple charges after police say he sent inappropriate sexual text messages to a 17-year-old female coworker.

Derich Bausher, 33, of Mechanicsburg, allegedly asked the victim to sell him her underwear for $50 and offered more money for sexually explicit videos. He contacted the victim from another phone and asked her to provide him with nude photos, investigators claim.

The victim reported the messages to a manager at the restaurant, who in turn contacted Upper Allen Township Police.

Bausher allegedly began texting the girl in January. He initially identified himself with a false name and claimed he was 18, but later admitted to the victim that he was 33.

After initially texting the victim, Bausher allegedly started messaging her on the Snapchat app before texting her again from a different phone number. He continued messaging the girl and asking for nude images and videos until March.

According to the criminal complaint affidavit, the victim provided police with screenshots of their conversations and the phone numbers used.

Investigators then traced the phone numbers and Snapchat information to Bausher.

Police executed a search warrant and seized Bausher's phone on June 26. A forensic examination of the device recovered the conversations the victim described, along with photos of Chick-fil-A's employee scheduling software, which included the names and phone numbers of other female employees, according to the complaint.

Bausher reportedly admitted to asking the girl to sell him her used underwear, claiming he has a fetish for the items and uses them for self-gratification.

He is charged with two felony counts of sexual abuse of children, a felony count of unlawful contact with a minor and a misdemeanor count of corruption of minors.

Bausher was arraigned on Nov. 20 and posted his bail of $7,000; a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 26.
