ENOLA, Pa. — Six people were displaced and one person injured in a Tuesday night fire in Cumberland County, authorities said Wednesday.
The blaze occurred at a home on Wyoming Avenue in East Pennsboro, according to Northeast Fire and Rescue of Enola.
Arriving fire crews saw flames coming from the roof of the three-story duplex and began extinguishing the blaze while other firefighters looked for people inside the structure.
One person was helped out of the building and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
It took between two and three hours before the fire was extinguished.
The American Red Cross was called in to help four adults and two children displaced by the fire.
Officials did not provide a damage estimate or details on what might have caused the fire.
