CARLISLE, Pa. — The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center announced it will host Patton Historian and Impersonator Stan Wolcott of Cody, Wyoming at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22.
In the fictional tale woven by Wolcott, “General Patton” will be visiting the U.S. Army War College during his leave from Germany in June and July 1945. He will be interviewed by the famous (and also entirely fictitious) War College radio station “WAWC”, discussing his life, his experiences as a student at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and as a U.S. Army Officer serving in the Mexico Border Deployment of 1916, World War I, and World War II.
Wolcott, a retired attorney, has spent his entire life studying General George Patton. His presentation of the visiting General Patton is an unforgettable experience, which USAHEC is thrilled to share with the public, veterans, and War College students.
The program, as with all USAHEC events, is free. Ample parking is available at USAHEC, and entry onto the Carlisle Barracks U.S. Army installation is not required.
