CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — First responders were called to a hotel in Silver Spring Township on Friday night after reports of a chlorine leak in the pool area.
Firefighters and a HAZMAT team responded to the hotel on the 300 block of Bent Creek Boulevard shortly after 9 p.m. for a possible chlorine leak, according to fire officials.
Hotel guests and staff were evacuated while a full sweep was carried out by the HAZMAT team.
Fire officials said no leak was found but two people were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The hotel resumed its operations around 10:45 p.m.
