Police announce arrest of one of several attackers accused of assaulting teen at Capital City Mall

CAMP HILL, Pa. — Police have arrested a suspect in the alleged attack of a juvenile victim at Capital City Mall last month.

Juan Arvelo, 20, is one of several alleged attackers in the incident, which occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Feb. 13, according to Lower Allen Township Police.

Witnesses told responding officers that the victim had been chased through the mall by a group of attackers, including Arvelo. When the attackers caught up to the victim in the mall's parking lot, they threw the victim to the ground and repeatedly struck him in the head and ribs, causing numerous injuries, police claim.

Arvelo was taken into custody on March 24. He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, police said.
