CARLISLE, Pa. — Police are investigating after a group of suspects defaced a public park in Cumberland County.
The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday at Letort Park in Carlisle, according to the borough's police department.
Police claim a group of five suspects, believed to be in their late teens to early 20s, entered the park using a metal bridge that connects the park to a nearby business on S. East Street. They then defaced several areas of the park with graffiti, police said.
One member of the group appeared to be wearing a black backpack, police claim.
The group left the area using the same metal bridge, according to police.
Investigators did not provide an estimate to the cost of repairing the damage.
