CAMP HILL, Pa. — Police in Cumberland County are searching for three suspects accused of teaming up to steal purses and other items from a Trader Joe's store.

The alleged incidents occurred in October 2023 and April of this year, according to Lower Allen Township Police.

After the theft in October, the suspects allegedly tried to use the victim's credit card at a BJ's Wholesale Club to make more than $2,200 in purchases.

Video obtained from the attempted transaction shows a male suspect wearing a white polo shirt, dark-colored jeans, black sneakers, a gold watch and rings and he is using what appears to be white Apple Airpod headphones, police said. He is seen attempting to use the self-checkout lane to conduct a transaction.

When the attempted purchase was declined, the male discarded the items and left the store, police said.

Investigators later discovered the BJ's membership card was used at locations in Lancaster, Reading and York, where the suspects tried to buy two iPads. Surveillance footage from the York and Reading BJ's incidents showed the male suspect, wearing the same clothing and using the same Airpods.

A second suspect, an older male wearing a white jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers, was with him at the York and Reading BJ's stores. The older male is also seen carrying some type of black portfolio or tablet device in his right hand, according to police.

In the second incident, the victim told police she was approached by two people, a man and a woman, both of whom were speaking Spanish. While the female suspect distracted the victim by engaging in conversation, the male suspect took the wallet from the victim's purse. Both suspects then left the store, police said.

The victim said she followed the male outside where she took a picture of him in the parking lot.  The picture shows the man wearing a blue shirt with one red and one white sleeve, gold chains around his neck, a gold watch, blue jeans and black sneakers. He also has a white Apple Airpod in his right ear.

The male's watch, shoes, Airpod and appearance are similar to that of the younger male suspect from the incident at Trader Joe's in October of 2023, police said.

After the wallet theft, a purchase at BJ's for around $2,000 was completed, police said.

Photos obtained from the transaction show an older male suspect wearing a black jacket, jeans and white sneakers in the BJ's. He is carrying a black portfolio or tablet device similar in size and appearance to the one older male suspect is seen carrying in photos from the October 2023 incidents, police said.

The female suspect was wearing black pants, sunglasses, a white bucket hat, a white tank top, white sneakers and carried a brown leather purse. She has nearly waist-length dark hair with blonde highlights.

The suspects purchased two iPads with a total value of $2,268.38, police said. They arrived and left in a gold or beige GMC Acadia with a New York registration under "L M Romero-Berrospi" of Harrison, NY.

Fraudulent purchases were also discovered at Lowe's and JC Penney stores, police said.

Photos were obtained and the female was identified as Liseth Mayorie Romero-Berrospi, which is similar to the name on the suspect vehicle from New York, according to police.

A detective from another jurisdiction identified the other suspects during his investigation. The younger male suspect was identified as Jeferson Hierbie Nue-Rosales. The older male was identified as Cesar Augusto Limas-Urbisagastegui.

Surveillance photos taken from BJ's confirm the younger male is Nue-Rosales and the older male is Limas-Urbisagastegui.

After reviewing all of the photos of the vehicle and the three suspects, Nue-Rosales was found to have been the male who used the victim's credit card at BJ's in October of 2023, as well as the male who took the wallet at Trader Joe's in April of 2024. He was also present with Limas-Uribsagastegui and Romero-Berrospi at BJ's when the card was used, according to police.

Arrest warrants have been obtained for all three suspects.
