Police seek help identifying suspected 'microwave masher' in Cumberland County

The pictured suspect is accused of smashing several pieces of equipment that were being stored behind a Carlisle-area business during renovations.

CARLISLE, Pa. — Police in Cumberland County are looking for help identifying a suspected "microwave masher."

According to Middlesex Township Police, the pictured suspect was caught on camera behind a local business on the 1400 block of Harrisburg Pike, smashing equipment that was placed there during renovations. In addition, he allegedly stole several other items from behind the business, police said.

The alleged incident occurred on Thursday, police said.
