CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — State Police in Carlisle are investigating an incident that involved a stolen four-wheeler, damaged crops and fleeing from troopers.
According to troopers, on Aug. 30 just before 11 p.m., two juvenile males drove a previously stolen red Honda TRX 500 four-wheeler to a private residence along Peiper Road, Southampton Township.
Once at the residence, they stole a blue Yamaha YFM 250 four-wheeler from the driveway and proceeded to trespass and damage crops with the four-wheelers at another private address along Peiper Road.
When confronted by the property owner, troopers reported that the juveniles fled. Troopers observed one juvenile riding on the roadway with the Honda TRX 500, who then fled the scene and abandoned the four-wheeler on private property along Means Hollow Road.
Charges are currently pending approval from the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office.
