CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — First responders in Cumberland County were at the scene of an "active police incident," according to Cumberland Goodwill EMS and Cumberland County 911 Dispatch.
It is unclear exactly what the "incident" entailed, but Dispatch says first responders have been at the scene on the 2400 block of Spring Road since 7:30 a.m.
According to FOX43's crew at the scene, there were no reported injuries and roads have been reopened.
Shortly before 8 a.m., North Middleton Township Police were sent to the area for an "individual in distress." According to officials, officers worked with other county partners and negotiators to bring the incident to a safe ending.
No specific threats were made to the public during the event.
The individual involved in the incident is reportedly seeking further care.
