CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — State Police have arrested a registered sex offender and carnival game operator for committing alleged Megan's Law violations in Cumberland County.

Richard Ridley, 53, was taken into custody by State Police on Wednesday. He is the owner and operator of a carnival game business called R.S. Entertainment, authorities said.

An investigation determined Ridley, who is registered as a sexually violent predator, operated the business without notifying State Police, which is required due to his status as a Megan's Law offender.

Ridley operated his business in June 2023 at various locations in Newville, South Newton Township, Mount Holly Springs, and Red Lion in Central Pennsylvania.

State Police believe there could be additional victims of Ridley in the southcentral Pennsylvania area.

Anyone having additional information regarding Ridley’s business or other incidents involving him are encouraged to contact Tpr. Jacob Fackler of the Pennsylvania State Police, at 717-249-2121.

Ridley is currently being held in Cumberland County Prison on $10,000 bail.
