Police investigating shooting in Carlisle

Police responded to a call that shots were fired in Carlisle late Wednesday night.

CARLISLE, Pa. — Late Wednesday evening, police were called after shots were fired at the intersection of South Pitt Street and West Chapel Avenue. 

According to the Carlisle Police Department, officers confirmed the shooting based on evidence found at the intersection. 

They also found a vehicle nearby that was struck by gunfire.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting, but police are asking the public's help for information pertaining to the incident.
