CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County police department is asking the public for information related to two separate hit-and-run crashes that occurred yesterday.

The Upper Allen Police Department says the first crash occurred around 2 p.m. on the first block of West Lisburn Road when the drivers side mirrors of two white pickup trucks traveling in the opposite direction collided as the trucks passed each other.

The vehicle driving east toward South Market Street allegedly did not stop to exchange information with the other driver. There is likely identifying damage on the drivers side mirror of the truck that left the scene, police said.

The second crash occurred around 4:20 p.m. on Route 15 south in the area of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, officers said. A dark gray or black SUV allegedly hit a white 2012 Chevrolet Cruise, then continued south on Route 15 after the crash. Police say the suspect vehicle will most likely have damage to the front passenger fender area.

Anyone with information, including video surveillance footage can contact Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445. An anonymous tip line is also available by calling or texting 717-850-UAPD (8273). Anonymous tips and video can also be submitted online.
