Two Cumberland County juveniles cited for bringing toy weapons into school

​Two juveniles have reportedly been referred to the Cumberland County Juvenile Probation Department for disorderly conduct after toy weapons were brought to school.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — The Camp Hill Police Department is reminding parents and guardians to check their children's backpacks after two juveniles repeatedly brought toy weapons to school. 

Two juveniles have been referred to the Cumberland County Juvenile Probation Department for disorderly conduct after toy weapons were brought onto school property on Sept. 4 and Sept. 12. According to police, the incidents resulted in significant disruptions to the school and community. 

Officers are reminding parents and guardians that they can assist in the safety and security of the community by simply checking their child's backpack before they leave for school or when they arrive home.
