Two Cumberland County men charged with drug trafficking, illegally possessing firearms

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Two Cumberland County men are facing drug trafficking and illegally possessing firearms charges.

According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, William L. Nalley Jr., 27, from Boiling Springs and Rafael Orihuela, 22, from Carlisle, were indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on charges related to the distribution of controlled substances and unlawful possession of a firearm. 

United States Attorney Gerard M. Karam stated that the indictment alleges that Nalley possessed with the intent to distribute marijuana, lysergic acid diethylamide and psilocin. It is also alleged that Nalley possessed two firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking. 

The indictment further alleges that Orihuela maintained a premise for the purpose of unlawfully storing, distributing and using the controlled substances listed above. 

The maximum penalty Nalley faces under federal law for these offenses is life in prison, a term of supervised release following prison and a fine. Orihuela faces a maximum penalty of twenty years in prison, a term of supervised release and a fine.
