CAMP HILL, Pa. — Police have charged one of two suspects accused of stealing more than $9,500 worth of merchandise from a Cumberland County retailer last month.

Tyron Johnson, 46, is charged with a felony count of retail theft for an alleged incident that occurred at a BJ's Wholesale Club in Camp Hill on Oct. 25, according to Lower Allen Township Police.

Officers were dispatched to the store, located on the 3800 block of Hartzdale Drive, at about 8:43 p.m. The store's management reported that two suspects took several televisions and a sound bar and exited without playing.

They were seen leaving the parking lot in a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, according to police.

The merchandise the suspects are accused of taking is valued at $9,530, police claim.

On Oct. 27, the BJ's Asset Protection Team shared information with police that the suspects were accused of performing similar thefts at BJ's locations in multiple states, according to police.

Using surveillance footage and information provided by the store, police were able to identify Johnson as one of the suspects, police said.

He was charged with retail theft, and an arrest warrant was issued on Nov. 22, according to police.

Investigators are still trying to identify the second suspect.
