LANCASTER, Pa. — Wegman's Food Markets announced it will host a virtual hiring event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday.
The supermarket chain is looking to fill more than 700 full- and part-time positions in 16 of its Pennsylvania stores, including its locations in Mechanicsburg and Lancaster.
Available positions include customer service roles across the store – merchandising, front-end, culinary, pharmacy, and perishable departments, Wegman's said.
All interviews for this event will be conducted virtually, via phone, with no video included.
Interested job-seekers should apply online in advance of the Pennsylvania Wegmans Virtual Hiring Event, the company said. A member of the Wegmans hiring team will contact applicants to schedule a time for the phone interview.
Many of the available positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $500 for full-time and select part-time positions and up to $750 for team leader positions.
The company said it offers flexible scheduling, industry-leading benefits and premium pay on Sundays and holidays.
Wegmans also offers an employee scholarship program available to both full-time and part-time employees.
Wegmans said it promotes from within and has announced future plans for additional stores in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, New York City, and Pennsylvania.
