LYKENS, Pa. — The borough of Lykens announced it has lifted the boil water advisory that was put in place due to a water main break last weekend.
The advisory was put into place last Saturday when a water main break in the northeastern Dauphin County borough caused a loss of positive pressure in the drinking water system.
The break has been repaired, and water levels are back to normal, the borough said in an update issued Friday. It is no longer necessary for residents to boil their water prior to using it.
The borough apologized for any inconvenience the boil water advisory may have caused.
