Dauphin County police investigating attempted child luring

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Dauphin County police are investigating a case of attempted child luring. 

On Thursday, Oct. 3 at 3:50 p.m., Swatara police received a report of attempted child luring near the intersection of Brisban and Kelso Streets in Paxtang Borough. 

According to police, a man attempted to lure a 12-year-old child into his vehicle. The juvenile described the suspect as approximately 20 years old, tall with an average build, short brown hair, facial scruff and was wearing a black T-shirt. 

The juvenile was able to enlist the help of an adult who was in the area and stayed with her until the suspect left the area and the police arrived. The suspect was driving the silver sedan pictured below.
