Philadelphia Eagles running back and Pennsylvania native D'Andre Swift will host a football camp in Harrisburg this summer, Flexwork Sports announced.
Swift, who rushed for 1,049 yards and five touchdowns this season for the Eagles, will join the Flexsports coaching staff at a one-day camp at Bishop McDevitt High School from 3 - 7 p.m. on June 26.
The camp will provide attendees "with valuable football knowledge and hands-on instruction in a fun, high-energy, positive environment," organizers said.
Camp activities will include lectures, fundamental skill stations, contests and awards, according to organizers. All campers will be grouped according to age to ensure proper levels of competition and instruction.
Attendees are asked to come dressed in athletic attire (gym shorts, cleats and/or sneakers).
"This comprehensive football learning experience is a great way for athletes of all skill levels to get active and learn something new to apply to their journey within the sport of football," organizers said. "Whether your child is new to the game or a seasoned player looking to further develop their skills, we’re sure our camps will be of benefit to him or her.
Individual and team awards will be given in each age group to outstanding campers.
Each camp participant will receive:
- Camp team photo with D'Andre Swift
- Limited-edition D'Andre Swift FlexWork Football Camp T-shirt
- Take home items from event sponsors
Swift, 25, will become a free agent in the offseason. A native of Philadelphia, he was a second-round pick by the Detroit Lions after a standout career at the University of Georgia.
The Eagles traded for Swift in April 2023.
