HARRISBURG, Pa. — A man found by police suffering from gunshot wounds later died from those injuries.
According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. along the 1100 block of North 3rd Street when police heard gunshots and went towards the sound.
They found 20-year-old Azar Hughes, from Steelton, at the scene. Emergency aid was administered, but ultimately Hughes died as a result of his injuries.
An investigation was immediately launched. Hughes' death has been ruled a homicide and his manner was ruled as gunshot wounds.

It was a busy night for Harrisburg Police, as earlier in the night, multiple arrests were made at the planned Riverfront Park fireworks show. That show was canceled and the park was evacuated after at least two firearms were recovered at the scene.
