HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Cumberland County woman has been charged with providing fentanyl to a Dauphin County victim who later died of an overdose.
Erica Coble, 43, of New Cumberland, was arrested on October 24 and charged with drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, according to Lower Paxton Township Police.
Authorities began investigating on March 17, 2023, when a victim was found dead of an overdose on the 6000 block of Linglestown Road. The investigation determined the victim died of fentanyl toxicity.
Investigators eventually developed Coble as a suspect in the case and filed charges against her.
After being taken into custody, Coble was arraigned before Magisterial District Justice Wendy Grella, who set bail at $100,000.
Coble was remanded to Dauphin County Prison after failing to post bail, according to court records.
