Harrisburg duplex goes up in flames

The fire in the duplex also threatened a nearby home, according to the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Harrisburg duplex was damaged in a Wednesday evening fire, according to Dauphin County 911 Dispatch.

Dispatch says the call came in around 10 p.m. on Sept. 11 for a fire at a two-story duplex in the 2000 block of Swatara Street.

The fire in the duplex also threatened a nearby home, according to the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire. Firefighters from both the city and the county's mutual aid responded to help fight the fire.

Dispatch says to their knowledge, the coroner was not called and no injuries were reported.

The Harrisburg Bureau of Fire is investigating the incident.
