HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police have arrested a suspect charged in connection to a deadly shooting in Harrisburg that occurred earlier this month.

Adrian Jaden Norris, 20, of Harrisburg, is accused of shooting Marshall Vujasinovich, 22, of Steelton, on South 19th and Holly Streets on the night of October 5.

Prior to the shooting, which occurred shortly before 6 p.m., Vujasinovich was attending a memorial service for Marion Holmes, who died in a crash involving a Harrisburg Police vehicle earlier that week.

An investigation of the shooting revealed that an unknown person, later identified as Norris, shot multiple times toward a group that had gathered for the memorial. The shooter allegedly fled the area on foot after the shooting, police said.

Holmes, 18, was riding in a 2000 Mercury Sable that was struck by the police cruiser, which was responding to an emergency call elsewhere in the city.

The crash is under investigation by State Police.

Following his arrest, Norris was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Barbara Planka on charges of criminal homicide, illegal possession of a firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license, according to court records. Bail was denied, due to the nature of the charges, court records show.

Norris was transported to Dauphin County Prison.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 9.
