DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Harrisburg man is facing charges following the overdose death of a township resident.
According to the Upper Allen Township Police Department, Julio Arellano, 32, supplied dangerous drugs to Melanie Alexander, who overdosed on Oct. 21, 2022, while alone in her apartment.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Feb. 7, Arellano was interviewed at the Lehigh County Jail and allegedly admitted to selling crack to Alexander.
Arellano has been arrested and charged with drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, according to the Upper Allen Township Police Department
His preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
