HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police are investigating a shooting that injured a woman in Harrisburg on Tuesday afternoon.
It occurred around 1:45 p.m. in the area of Kittatinny and Buckthorn Streets in the city, according to Harrisburg Police.
Arriving officers found a woman suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot injury. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
Preliminary information indicates the incident was isolated in nature and there is no immediate danger to the public, according to police.
