Victim identified in Harrisburg apartment homicide

Kyle and Chanise Burton were arrested after police found a woman's body inside their apartment.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Update, Sept. 1: The Dauphin County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 26-year-old Allie McFadden of York County.

Her autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Previously: Two people are being charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and conspiracy after police found a dead woman inside their Harrisburg apartment.

On Thursday, Aug. 29 around 11:00 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Pine St. 

Kyle Burton, 42, and Chanise Burton, 36, were inside the apartment when police arrived on the scene. Officers say they located the body of a woman and began an investigation.

Authorities determined that both Kyle and Chanise Burton would face charges for their roles in the incident.
